4. Ting-Tong Chang

Born in 1982 in Taipei, Taiwan, Ting-Tong graduated with an MA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2011. His practice combines street art with more traditional elements of painting and sculpture. He is most interested in urban space and often uses absurd objects or visual imagery as a method to open a dialogue between individuals and institutions about contemporary problems.

In Taiwan, he is well known as the street artist ‘Bbrother’, who together with his crew organise street events that create dissonance and disturbance in an urban environment. His installations aim to get to the core of contemporary problems: globalization stimulated by the developments in technology, blurred boundaries between nations, and the ubiquitous fear of terrorism. With a wicked dose of black humour, he plays with concepts such as death, war, and mass destruction. He lives and works in London.
